Back to school-Back to Communism?

Tuesday is back to school for me, and although I’m a little older than the typical college crowd, I don’t mind. The reservations I have are regarding the Marxist leanings of some of the professors. I heard Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly mention this, but I thought they were just doing their kooky right wing act. Apparently, I was wrong.

Last semester I had an art class where we saw art through the ages from a Marxist perspective. Try to imagine Da Vinci though the eyes of Karl Marx. I just couldn’t keep my mouth shut, but luckily passed the class anyway. With an ordinary art teacher I would have gotten an A. Oh, well, I’ll take the grade I got, along with my integrity.

Summer school was another surprise, comrades. It was supposed to a class about business ethics, but it degenerated into a capitalist bash-fest. The term paper was to look at another societal system other than capitalism-like Marxism. I learned my lesson from the previous semester, and tucked away my integrity. I gave him what he wanted. However, I am proud to say that I carefully wove in the fact that Marxism has been a failure everywhere it has been implemented and that imposing it on the United States would most likely yield the same results. My wording was very careful though, and-yeah, I nailed the A.

The university has other issues as well. I’ve seen every kind of fraternity, sorority, and club you can imagine-as long as it didn’t include white people. No white groups on campus. Some of those groups on campus are quite racist as well. That’s ok with the university-but no white groups. Not that I’m looking for a white group-they’re just conspicuously absent.

I just vent here, because I certainly can’t do it at school. There is one positive attending that university: Lots of pretty girls-makes me feel years younger
