Most Americans love their country and consider themselves to be at least somewhat patriotic. But what do Americans actually know about their country? The answer may startle you. The Intercollegiate Studies Institute conducted a study that asked 2500 subjects to answer 33 questions covering the subjects of history, government, and economics. The conclusions were disheartening, with 1700 people failing, and elected officials scoring even worse than the general public!
